The gyros were great. Friendly service and good prices. I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu. The mint lemonade is a must try!

Not crazy about it . I had the lamb, it was chewy an poorly seasoned . I love HUMMUS an I was sadly disappointed by their hummus. Being one of the only Mediterranean food stores around they should be THE BEST! You have no competition except for Gita Pita by high school , an they are ok. Please get better ingredients, we need some good Mediterranean food in the parish !

Absolutely amazing-- hidden gem in Arabi, La! Lovely staff and with a traditional menu. Market is stocked full of "Mediterranean" and middle eastern staples. One of my favorite, go-to lunches

Yummy. The fresh mint lemonade is my favorite drink of all time. The sandwiches are huge and flavorful for only 5.99. Also, dependable and affordable for catering.

This is my favorite place for Mediterranean dishes...hands down! The chicken shawarma is very good. Service is great and they were very helpful in suggesting off menu items and specials.

This was not my first visit and when you consider that I have to drive from Metairie to Aribi in heavy traffic and usually wait on a drawbridge to eat here, there must be something special about it. There is, starting when you walk through the small grocery store filled with essentials plus specialty items and continuing through the attentive service and excellent food. Mostly Lebanese and Middle Eastern cuisine with some American and a few surprises, one of those being a chicken schnitzel platter. The food is delicious!

Stella Maris has THE BEST food around - middle eastern or otherwise. Great people, great atmosphere and again...really, really delicious food. Mona's and Lebanon don't even begin to compare. The drive to St. Bernard is well worth it. Also, get the kibby. You won't be sorry.

This place is awesome. Try the fried eggplant. Yum! Service is down home fantastic. I go here once a month with my family. They always remember our order.

very good food. portions were big and reasonably priced. the small greek salad with gyro was delicious and big. the small hummus with pita was plenty as well and very good.

What a great place, food is tasteful and service is great, you have to try the Tiramasu dessert.

Very delicious! Everything I have eaten so far has been delicious and cooked perfectly. I have been trying something different every time I order and haven’t been disappointed yet! The lamb is always so tender and juicy and the shawarma is great! The hummus and Arabic salad are great and the falafel is very tasty. I always order Lebanese tea with my food, I can’t get enough of it. I wish I could figure out how to make it at home. The customer service has never been a disappointment and the food is cooked in a timely manner.

Excellent little shop and cafe for authentic Middle Eastern delicacies. My chicken shawarma was so good and hummus was amazing. I wish they would sell their homemade hummus in pints containers to take home. Service was prompt and super courteous. Menu is vast but not overwhelming. The side store had a decent selection of hard to find spices and great teas. Would definitely recommend for those who want to change their palate to something fresh and good. Will certainly stop by whenever in the area. 🙂🌻

I come here for hookah with friends once a month. They always have great service, good food, and have good input when you're trying to decide what hookah flavor you want. Their prices are fair and portion sizes are generous. The smallest or attached also has unique things that you wouldn't find in a typical grocery store. They have unique candies that usually don't find in the US.

Love the food!! The staff are all amazing! Has an abundance of Mediterranean food, snacks, and epic chocolate!! Who could ask for more!!!!

I do not understand why the restaurant is not busier. The food is fantastic, the service is great, and its all reasonably priced. The same goes for the grocery side, which also has a great selection!

Perhaps the tastiest, healthiest place to eat in St Bernard. Lovely family-owned middle eastern restaurant/food market - really good prices - lots of choices for vegans - also gyros, hummus, stuffed grape leaves, all top quality - and a great tiramisu

YUM!! You won't find any other food like this in the area! Their classic mediterranean menu will not disappoint whether you're looking for something quick to carry out for lunch, or a nice full dinner. And you can't beat the prices! They also have a very nice little grocery store with many hard-to-find international items, as well as some fresh produce, drinks, and kitchen items. Service has always been fast and friendly. My go-to is the chicken shawarma sandwich!

One of the best places for an awesome Gyro. They have a small grocery section as well where you can find ingredients that are not available in chain groceries. Great prices and excellent food!

Best Mediterranean restaurant in the entire metro area! Their lamb kafta is the bomb. They also make this really good frozen mint lemonade--try that for sure. The presentation of the food is endearingly out of proportion with the humble, low-key theme of the dining room. Fancy plates, vibrant colors, lots of thought goes into presentation.

The finding of "Stella Maris"was a great thing!I am vagan and have been watching Julie Tabouli on my streaming device.The smoked eggplant in the Baba Ganouswas better than I can make at home and the market has everything I've been going to the Westbank to get.A must try for any foodie or vegan!!😂😀

My wife and I love Stella Maris, we've been going for years. Their baba ganuj has no comparison around new orleans, probably in the whole southern US! The mint lemonade is also out of this world, do yourself a favor and get it. Love it love it love it. Thank you so much!

Best gyro in the Greater New Orleans area by far

My first time trying Stella Maris...It was pretty good, but only pretty good. The pita bread (and they are in a middle eastern grocery) was VERY stale. I ordered the combination chicken & beef shawarma plate...the chicken was ok, the beef was very stringy, I had to spit out a couple of pieces. Overall, maybe a C+...
